RX-180 Dual 5 1/4" Floppy Drive

    A successor to the RX-01 and RX-02 , the RX-180 is a third generation dual floppy unit built around standard Shugart Associates mini-floppy drives. Its interface with the host computer is via 25-pin DB-25 connectors, of which there are two (one "in" and one "out") to allow daisy-chaining of multiple units.

    There are two of these devices in my collection (4 drives total) and both are actively tied to the Intecolor 8001 .
