Unlike The Toy Shop newspaper which is devoted only to buying and selling toys, Collecting Toys magazine is all ABOUT the toys of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, and it is filled with gorgeous color pictures of toys and toy collections. There are some advertisements, but you'll want to buy it for the articles, not so much for the ads. There are also reports on the latest toy-industry trade shows, as well as major antique toy shows and auctions.
