Please Note:

If the following isn't clear yiddish characters (for Shalom!), then the fonts have not been installed correctly:

To install the Ain Yiddishe fonts, follow these instructions:

Step 1

Click on the link Yiddish.zip.

Step 2

Choose "Save File To Disk"

Step 3

Choose a directory for the file and click on "Save" - but remember the location where you chose to save the file!

Step 4

When the download is complete, click on "Open".

Step 5

Click on Extract and choose to Extract All Files to the same directory you used before.

Step 6

Go to the Control Panel (from Start|Settings|Control Panel), double click on Fonts, click on File and choose to Install New Font.
In the "Folders" dropdown, select the directory into which you unzipped the fonts.

You should see the three following yiddish fonts listed above:
Ain Yiddishe Font Cursiv
Ain Yiddishe Font Traditional
Ain Yiddishe Font Modern
Select them all and click on "OK"

After that, you'll be able to use the yiddish fonts in other applications like MSWord, Outlook Express, and Internet Explorer.

If you've just installed the fonts, then you may need to press Refresh/Reload or close down your browser and come back to this site.
