This is the only child who did not testify in the 1986 trial of Gerald Amirault.

I. Non-Sexual "Hurting" Allegations:

Tooky put a key in J.O.'s vagina. (Interviews, p.219)
J.O. "hit Cheryl's bum and hit it again and said she was dead." (Interviews, p.223)
Another child was "dropped on her head," and then that child's vagina was "grabbed." (Interviews, p.224)

II. Photography:

Cheryl and Tooky took pictures of her. "Tooky asked me to take my pants down." (Interviews, p.220)

But:

Nobody took pictures of her at Fells Acres Day School. (Pre-Trial Reports, p.245)
Tooky took pictures of the children only when they were dressed. They were "photographs rather than film." (Interviews, p.223)

III. The Clowns:

The clown took J.O.'s clothes off in the "magic room": the "green room." (Interviews, p.213)

But:

J.O. did not see a clown or an elephant at Fells Acres Day School. (Pre-Trial Reports, p.238)

*Note: J.O. attended Fells Acres Day School for over 3 years, far more than any of the other children.

IV. The "magic Room" and the "Secret Room":

The clown took off J.O.'s clothes in the green "magic room." (Interviews, p.213)
J.O. told her mother that there was a "spooky magic room" in the cellar at Fells acres Day School. (Interviews, p.216)
All her friends were the in the "magic room" where Tooky touched her vagina. The room had a green rug and a lamp. (Interviews, p.218)

J.O, "denied knowing a magic room." (Interviews, p.223)
J.O. told Susan Kelley that she had never heard of a "magic room" or a "secret room." (Pre-Trial Reports, p.249)

V. Forced Nudity:

Dr. Jean Emans, the Commonwealth's medical expert, examined J.O. on January 17, 1985. J.O. was 4 years old. She had "mild vulvitis with redness around the labia minora and slightly out to the labia majora." (1987: Vol. 5, pp.39-41)
In a textbook co-authored by Dr. Emans, the following sentence opens chapter 3" "Vulvovaginitis is a common problem in the prepubertal child." (S.
