To do this in Netscape, you need to go to your "General Preferences" section and configure the "Helper Applications" section to launch your MIDI player. Alternatively, you can click on one of the links below, and follow the instructions from your browser on decoding the MIDI data. It can be a real pain setting it up, but it's worth it, if you like to listen to music while you browse. If you don't undertand most of what you just read, you may want to do a web-search under the keywords "MIDI, MIME, Netscape, configure". Otherwise, procede to explore our MIDI sequence collection as you browse our site.
You can retrieve and listen to MIDI music sequences stored on the Internet. The catch is configuring your browser to recognize this MIME data type [audio/midi] and launch your MIDI player [if you have one] as you download the data.
