Web-page Authoring/Design

Please note:

[begin geek talk]
The HTML language and the World Wide Web were created as an "open system" for the free exchange of information (digital data). The HTML format was created as a means of encoding text-based (ASCII, etc.) data with formatting codes that the receiver's browser uncodes for viewing. The format is compact, for transmission over the phone system (9600 baud used to be considered fast). It's purpose was to allow scientists and researchers to "publish" their papers on-line, so their colleagues could keep current with their ongoing research.

As such, the HTML language is fairly simple to learn (if you're a scientist/researcher). There are many books on HTML and lots of information about HTML on the Internet. Most ISP's provide you with storage space on their server for you to "publish" your own web-pages. We urge you to take the time to learn the ins and outs of creating web-pages, and "do-it-yourself".

But, if you want us to it for you, read below.

Rhythmically Correct Productions will create a web-page for you at a competitive price (shop around). You may design the page yourself, and let us convert it into HTML code, or you may let us both design and code your page. We currently specialize in pages serving the greater Central Massachusetts artist/musician community.

The page(s) we write for you can either reside in our site, or we can upload the pages to your site. We can write in HTML 2.0 or 3.0 specifications (with Netscape 2.0x or Microsoft Internet Explorer extensions). Each page includes an SSI "Access Counter" utility, in order for you and your visitors to keep track of usage. Full graphics, sounds, and MIDI sequences are now incorporated in our service.
