A "Raikes Collectible" is a bear, rabbit, doll, or other piece designed by artist and wood carver Robert Raikes. The most distinguishing feature is a carved wooden face. Most Raikes collectibles also have wooden foot pads and are made in limited quantities.
Robert Raikes designs were first produced for the bear collector market in 1985 by the Applause Company. The latest designs are now being produced through Robert's own company. To date, over 200 pieces have been designed by Robert, and marketed to collectors throughout the world.

To locate a particular collectible you can access our Raikes Catalog Index. The index contains pointers into the Raikes Catalog by name, year, and category from which you can then access photos of many of the collectibles.
The photos which are in the JPEG format are best viewed on hardware capable of 16 bit or greater color. If they are viewed on a system with only 8 bit color you are likely to see dithering in the photo.
